We're still your Upstate NY, LOCAL koi connection! We just decided to give it a name and a face!

Our Story

Who are we? Just a small family that love the "koi fishes".

Side Koi offers a selection of domestic and imported Japanese pond koi. We are passionate about providing quality, healthy koi at reasonable prices. With our experience, we're also happy to offer support and advice for your existing pond. Occasionally, we’re called to rescue, and re-home fish left behind. We pride ourselves in safely removing, treating and caring for these friends until they successfully land in a new forever home. We really look forward to sharing our passion and our fish with you in the coming season!

We are local only... Unfortunately, we don't ship our fish at this time. We truly love connecting with pond owners and sharing our fish in person and we have customers that come from all over the Upstate NY area! We are available most summer evenings and weekends and since we operate by appointment only, we protect your experience by avoiding overlaps.

Update 5/15/26: Here we go!!!

We have fish available! We'll be updating the FaceBook page soon, but we have several small koi to choose from and ready to go when your pond is ready!
3-6" domestics and lots of butterfly!

We also have about 30 larger, gorgeous imported Japanese Koi to choose from! Amazing colors and ranging from 6"-13".

UPDATE 5/2/26: Happy Spring Koi Friends!

We'll be kicking off this season by Memorial Day and will be partnering with our favorite local pond builder, Sunrise Aquatics, and the Standsbyme.app for a holiday weekend deal!

Our domestic harvest will land in early June this season. We DO have several 7"-13" Imports that will be ready for your pond very soon! WE also have 100 gorgeous little 4"-5" domestic butterfly koi that will be ready quickly as well!

Something to look forward to? We plan to pull some GIANTS in the harvest this season, as we "thin the herd" at the farm! We will make available, several of our 24" breeding stock and killer prices! Watch for updates in the coming weeks! Need BIG fish? We'll have them!
